Insightful Information

Transforming the world's shared data
into useful, meaningful knowledge
  A Data-Based World

Countless databases around the world record every aspect of our lives. Whether it is the items we purchase, the distribution channels those products followed, the manufacturing process that crafted those goods, the regulations for each industry, reports of consumer satisfaction, product safety, medical services, prescrptioon drug interactions, weather events, or any number of other facts.

From the monumental shifts in society to minute facts about daily activites, databases around the globe record it all. Our mission, at Global Public Data, is to put that data back in the hands of the people affected.
Our Shared Data

Almost every nation collects and stores enormous amounts of information about each of us and the businesses and organizations operating within their borders. In addition, many non-profit and quasi-governmental organizations collect information relevant to their respective missions.

Much of this information is kept confidential or private (for good reason). Other parts of those databases are made public, to provide important services or to adhere to policies of openness and transparency. Global Public Data searches the gloobe for those datasets and looks deep within this public information to reveal knowledge often difficult or impossible for the general public to easily access.

  Establishing Connections

To transform mountains of data into meaningful, useful information, we start by seeking out intersting and relevant relationships within the data. This may mean a link between a product and a manufacturing location, or between a disaster and a report, or between a medicine and a patient (all information is anonymous at the source or we anonymize it ourselves).

Often these relationships are poorly designated in the original databases. Other times, the relationship is not recorded at all and we apply proprietary techniques to bring the connections to light.
Quarterly Reports

Leaders of organizations, firms and businesses need the latest insights into their respective realms, including forecasts of what to expect in coming months and years. Our quarterly reports for specific topics provide unique analysis that can be invaluable for decision-makers.

Subscribers to our quarterly reports also gain access a streamlined internet portal for querying the data we have compiled, transformed, and processed -- including proprietary analysis and statistics generated by complex algorithms to find associations and correllations that have otherwise escaped notice.
